Announcing the Retirement of Kenny Burleson: A Legacy of Dedication and Leadership

It is with a mixture of gratitude and pride that we announce the upcoming retirement of Kenny Burleson, who will be stepping down at the end of 2025 after 51 incredible years of service at Burleson Plumbing & Heating. Kenny’s dedication to this company, our employees, and our customers has left a lasting impact, and while we are sad to see him go, we are excited for him to begin this well-deserved next chapter in his life.

Over the past five decades, Kenny has been the driving force behind Burleson Plumbing & Heating, steering it through both challenging times and periods of growth. He has revolutionized the way we operate, introducing systems like our first price book for materials, improving our financial and purchasing processes, and building lasting relationships with vendors. His tireless work ethic, paired with his heart for people, created a business culture where employees are more than just a number, and customers know they are being cared for by someone who truly values them.

Kenny’s leadership has always been rooted in the company’s core values: Integrity Matters, Humbly Confident, Family Oriented, Customer Experience Focused, and Grow or Die. It is these values that have shaped Burleson Plumbing & Heating into the company it is today, and it is these same values that will guide us into the future.

As Kenny moves into retirement, he is looking forward to spending more time with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren—Holland, Luca, Landon, Evan, and Raymond. He and his wife are also excited to continue traveling, with more adventures planned in the years to come. In addition to family time, Kenny will remain active in his church and his work with Mitchell Ministries, where he has dedicated many years to serving others.

While Kenny will be stepping back from the day-to-day operations, we are confident that the strong foundation he has laid will continue to thrive. Over the past few years, we have made significant strides in preparing for this transition, and we are proud to say that Burleson Plumbing & Heating is in great hands. We’ve implemented a new operating system and created a comprehensive accountability chart that reflects the leadership and dedication of our team. Leaders are stepping up at all levels, committed to carrying on the legacy that Kenny built over the past 51 years.

I, Adam Burleson, have been fortunate to learn from my dad’s example, and I am honored to take on the responsibility of leading this company into the future. With the systems, structure, and values we’ve put in place, Burleson Plumbing & Heating is positioned to continue serving our customers and community for generations to come.
